Let the Germs get the Worms

Scientists at University of Kentucky’s Gluck Equine Research Center are launching an initiative to raise research funding for equine parasitology research through crowdfunding. Crowdfunding reaches out to the general public and invites people to make small donations online. If the crowd is big enough, the funding goals can be reached. The method is used for many different purposes, and research is one of them. In the video above, you can learn more about this crowdfunding initiative.
